When I started at Ken Institute in September 2025 I was a working professional with field experience, but I lacked the academic foundation and structured engineering mindset.
Over these these years, Ken Institute transformed me in 3 major ways:
A. Technical Growth
I learned the core principles of Mechanical Engineering โ Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Manufacturing Processes, and Machine Design. Before, I knew _how_ to do a job. Now I know _why_ it works that way. The theory classes gave meaning to everything I was doing on site.
B. Mindset Shift
The biggest change was from “doing” to “thinking”. Assignments and case studies taught me to analyze problems, do research, and write proper technical reports. I learned discipline, time management, and how to balance work with studies.
C. Professional Development
Ken Institute taught me communication, documentation, and presentation skills. I learned to explain technical ideas clearly to both engineers and management. The online learning platform also made me more comfortable with digital tools for learning and research.
This journey proved that learning doesnโt stop after school. It made me a more confident and complete engineer. will Build My Career using this qualification to grow from a Maintenance technician/supervisor role into an engineering role with more responsibility in design, planning, and improvement.I Build My Skills by Continue learning in areas like automation, renewable energy, and maintenance management. The industry is changing and I want to stay ahead. And toBuild Others: Share my knowledge with my colleagues and juniors. I want to mentor people coming from the field, just like Ken Institute mentored me.
