The Master’s in HSEM has helped me develop from primarily focusing on operational HSE management to looking at HSE from a broader strategic and leadership perspective. With more than 14 years of experience in the HSE field, I already had strong practical exposure, particularly in large-scale renewable energy projects. However, this course helped me connect my practical experience with management principles, leadership, sustainability, risk-based decision-making and organizational performance.
Throughout the programme, I have improved my ability to analyse HSE challenges from both operational and business perspectives and to develop practical solutions that support people, projects and organizational objectives. Going forward, I intend to use this learning to strengthen HSE culture, develop more effective management systems and contribute at senior and corporate HSE leadership levels.
