When I started the Ken course, I had basic knowledge and limited confidence in applying the concepts. By the end of the program, I learned how to think practically, follow structured processes, and communicate professionally in real work scenarios. I improved my understanding of HSE/Risk assessment, safety documentation, and how to design preventive strategies rather than only reacting after incidents.
What I will build next is a stronger safety culture in my organization. I plan to apply hazard identification and risk assessment methods more consistently, improve safety training and toolbox talks, and strengthen emergency preparedness through mock drills. I also want to contribute by documenting SOPs/checklists, tracking near misses, and ensuring corrective actions are followed through to completion.
